Sahrawi Republic Seeks Economic Growth Collaboration at African Union STC Meeting in Tunisia

The Sahrawi Republic participated in the African Union’s Specialized Technical Committee meeting on Economy, Finance, Planning and Economic Integration, held yesterday in Tunis.

The Sahrawi Minister of Economic and Financial Affairs, Mohamed Moloud Mohamed Fadel, attended the session.

Discussions focused on: Enhancing coordination between economic and sectoral policies across Africa; Identifying challenges and opportunities for inclusive growth and sustainable development; and Mobilizing Africa’s resources to achieve economic growth for all.

The meeting also reviewed and adopted reports from experts and ministers, culminating in a Ministerial Declaration. The Sahrawi delegation used this opportunity to discuss collaboration and strengthen bilateral cooperation with other African nations on economic issues. Salama Lahbib, representing the Ministry of Economic and Financial Affairs, also participated in the experts’ meeting
